I grew up in Stockport and knew I wanted to be a vet from 9 or 10 years old. I graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 1996 and after a year in practice went back to Edinburgh vet school to undertake a PhD and specialist training in equine medicine. After a number of years practising and teaching equine medicine, I decided to move back into small animal work and joined the Vet Care at Home team in Belper. I am passionate about delivering the best experience for both client and pet in the comfort of their own home and enjoy the personalised care we can provide at Vet Care at Home. I also work part time at Harper Keele Vet School and run my own mental health and neurodiversity training company. I live with my husband and children in Duffield and enjoy running in the beautiful Derbyshire hills in my spare time.
