About The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join us in our innovative family business. Working with an RVN, our passion is delivering the very best veterinary services in the comfort of our client’s homes.
There is also a permanent location you will be working in when not visiting clients.
We have a mobile surgical unit, for any surgery that is required.
We have excellent links with local practices for cases unsuitable to be seen in a home environment.

What We Need From You...

Qualified Veterinary Nurse
Passionate about providing outstanding care to pets and their owners
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
An interest in hospice and palliative care is ideal
Certificate holders are welcome to apply

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality veterinary care to pets in their homes
Conduct consultations, examinations, and treatments
Provide referrals for specialties such as dermatology, palliative care, ultrasound imaging, reproduction, herbal medicine, physiotherapy, etc.
Work closely with clients to develop treatment plans and provide ongoing care
Administer medication and provide follow-up care
Provide end-of-life care at home
Maintain accurate and timely records of consultations and treatments
Communicate with the VetCare@Home team and provide updates on client cases
Utilise the provided high-spec vans to conduct day calls
Utilise the fully equipped surgical vehicle for surgeries if desired

If you’d like to arrange for us to visit your pet at home, you can either book online or phone.

We reserve a few emergency and end of life care appointments each working day, please call us to book in your appointment.
