I started my veterinary nurse training in 2006 and qualified in 2010.
I have had an exciting career so far, working in referral practice for 10 years, most recently working as an emergency and critical care nurse but I have been lucky enough to rotate through many disciplines over the years.
I am now ready to take all of this experience and use it to help people in the community, whether it be explaining what will happen if a patient needs to go to a big hospital and see a specialist or giving clients all of their options, helping them to make an informed decision about what treatment plan is right for them and their loved one.
I have a real passion for palliative and end of life care. It’s such a difficult time for owners, it is a privilege to be able to spend the time with clients, if needed and making the whole process as peaceful, comfortable and dignified as possible.
I also have a keen interest in pain management, particularly with our geriatric patients.
I live with my beautiful greyhound George who has come all the way from Australia, he is loving life in the cold and loving all the rabbit and squirrel smells.
